Hey everybody, my name is Eric and I just bought a 77 Taylor jet boat.  It doesnt have a motor in it but the guy I bought it from said thats all I need for it.  I figured it would be an easy project but the more research I do the more I realize how ignorant I am.  I was going to put a 350 in it but I cant find any headers for a small block and I think a big block is the way to go anyway, especially since I already have bb headers.  So I found a 454 that came out of an 85 1 ton and am thinking of buying it.  I just want to get the boat running for this summer so Im not wanting to get crazy with the motor.  I need some guidance from you pros about what I should do and buy to get this boat going asap.  Do I need  a different cam and what kind should I use.  I know I need a water divider, etc.  I just need info on just about everything.  Thanks so much for your time.
