Does this apply for all of us. Need a 101 on wiring a boat from scratch .LMFAO

Yeah yeah... my sister was a base... that's how I know....yea yea we all know what you do on your free time now buddy haha
LMMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!! I like to think of myself more as a Base... you sir, are a flyer....the fact that you know what a base an a flyer are scares me drew lol
im assuming yes
Should it?

Your killing me smalls...haha the rights to go in my ice chest when you run out haha thanks man I appreciate it it doesn't not have a resistor btw
From (I) on the ignition switch (purple wire conventionally) to the ballast resistor (if it has one) from the ballast resistor to the (+) side of the coil, there should be another wire on the positive side of the coil to the (I) terminal on the starter solenoid. The distributor wire goes directly to the (-) side of the coil along with the tach. lead (normally grey in color).
To get number one on top, pull the number one plug, bump the starter until the plug hole farts on you... Bring the index mark to "0" on the timing tab. Check the distributor cap for cylinder one, this is the cylinder furthest forward on the block BTW... Rotate the rotor until the rotor is pointing at number one post. drop the distributor in the hole, it may be necessary to bump the starter again to get it to engage into the oil pump shaft... It will drop all the way once lined up. Install the hold down, attach the wiring, drop on the cap and see what it does... If it coughs back through the carb, turn it clockwise, if it just does not start and sounds lazy, turn it counter clockwise... Once it lights, have the timing light ready....
Some helpful information, the firing order is 18436572.... The distributor turns clockwise looking down at it.
What'd I win?

plus 2 lol can you give me a detailed write up GT from the wires from the coil where they go an basically what els to do besides put it at tdc at the number one piston with the rotor pointing at it
That even confused me...LOL
There are a MILLION YouTube videos on setting a distributor and timing the engine correctly. This is something that is elementary, should be a one two three process.i understand that their is a bunch of videos to do it but their also not telling you were to pull power for the coil or how to basically wire the coil up

The wire from the distributor goes to the negative (-) side of the coil along with the tach. lead if you have one.so set the motor at tdc to the number one piston then what
To time it, it will need to be "dropped in" on number one first... Do you know that part?

ha you trying to say something.hahah unless you wanna coach me threw this an tell me what I need to do
