Hey Beerjet, I just picked up a 1970 Sidewinder SS set up for a sbc and a bayjet...(knock off berkeley as far as I can tell). This is my first jet boat so this is all new to me. Anyways its set up for over the transom headers and I'm just looking to have a good time. Speed is not my concern and I don't want it super loud. I will want to pull the occasional skier and wake boarder. I'm going to drop in a 1972 corvette 350 thats been warmed over a little bit. I do need to rebuild the pump what would be a good impeller do you think also. Thanks so much for your time helping me out.
