Hey man very nice boat and Rare is the key word. I have one I am parting together. My berkley pump cover doesn't seem to look like it's correct to the hull in that the cover doesn't sit flush to the transom and there isn't any holes drilled in the original gel coat for the top two cover holes. Could you send me a couple pics of what your cover looks like or is this just how it is on all of them. Thanks and good luck on finding a new owner for her.

No work has been taking place on this boat lately trying to finish up the big boat this past couple weeks and then back to the jet boat. Gonna try and make a alignment tool that goes into the pump and bolts to the motor. And use that and the cool four point engine lift thingy i got lone to me. We will get it one way or another. But that's for the idea I might use a strap or two to keep the motor in place while we mark hole

Well shit doesn't line up. And it's back to the drawing board. Anyone have any luck using a hoist leveler and trying to figure out where to mount the rails?

Today is rebuilding the front seats and yesterday was the second to last layer of fiberglass on the stringers. It's coming to a end next the motor mounts and block to be set in so the back seat can be built. And I shall never think of doing a project with fiberglass work ever again.

Well the motor had been painted. And the fiberglass work is in the home stretch. Soon we should be moving on to something more enjoyable. Lots of parts are flowing in from the mail. Can't wait to start the rigging and wiring more pictures to come.

Mindless as in you don't have to have a engineering degree to do it. I would say welding is something you don't give it a shot and then put your life at risk with what you welded together. Anyone can mix resin and brush and roll and putty it around. Trust me I see stupid all day long but in my opinion if you can swing a wrench in your hand and take a motor apart and put it back together then you probably could do fiberglass work with alittle bit of background knowledge. Just my two cents.

Just do it your self. Fiberglass work is mindless. Watch some you tube and read a lot and search here the info to do it right is out there. It's just time consuming and dirty work.

Hey I know we are a couple months away from summer but your boat is assessable for a photo op you get me a ton or a few pictures of the back seat and how all the seats sit in the boat maybe like run a tape measure front to back and show where the backs of the seats measure up. I am a nut case when it comes to restoring things to factory. So custom rear seat isn't really what I want to do. Atleast for the sizing and lay out. Thanks either way

Anyone want to chime in on this?  The fiberglass work has been going smooth and I have good faith in my self but a opinion from someone that knows alittle more than me would help me sleep at night.
