I built new bucket seats for mine. I cut 1 inch strips and attached them to the seat base. Then stapled the strips together at the cuts. Then I fiberglassed them for strength. I'll be quite honest I've got about $200 in just the wood and fiberglass. If it were me I would buy the fiberglass bucket seats from jetboat performance. They'll never rot, they're light weight and you can get a pair for about $330.
