I've got an '82 Nordic with a 455 OLDS and I need to get ready for summer. I need to do an oil change, new sparkplugs, wires. What is the best oil to use? Sparkplugs (including gap)? How would I match up a set of wires and what would be the best? I bought the boat last year in Tuscon, AZ. and only ran once at Silverwood before taking home to Missouri. I noticed that a few of the wire boots melted. Any help?

I hear and read alot of bad things about the 455 OLDS. I have one in my '82 Nordic. As it runs fine now, what should I watch for or do to prevent any problems?

Hey everyone. I'm new to SoCal Jet Boats. I just recently purchased an '82 Nordic Bubbledeck with a 455 Olds. As soon as I learn how I will post some pics on here. I was also intersted in some decals for my truck as well as decals for the boat. I live in Missouri but would be extremely interested in the regatta. I bought the boat in Phoenix, AZ. It was originally from Riverside, CA. I've got alot of questions about my boat that I'm sure you guys can answer so I look forward to posting some in the near future. Scott.
