After being dropped by geico when they saw pictures if my boat I gave Nikki a call, she got everything squared away for me the same day and I received my insurance card and everything in the mail about 5 days later. I couldn't be any happier. Geico was unable to insure the boat due to the motor being exposed and having over transom headers, that wasn't an issue when dealing with her at all. So if anyone has any issuance questions or issues give her a call. She's totally reasonable and affordable as well. Thanks again.

Just like the title says. Just picked up this boat and amore taking it out for the first time ton or row for a few days trip. The previous owner out this 8 degree wedge "roost booster" on the pump. I don't care for a large roost, it has a place diverter anyways so that's good enough for me. To remove this thing it is as simple as unbolting and removing and bolting the nozzle back up to the bowl? Seems at right forward. I just don't want to make a stupid mistake. Thanks guys

What do you think about just running one to the ski loop? Or would that be bad to potentially stress the mounting points

I've seen quite a few boats with and without transom straps. The kona we use to have had bow hooks/d rings on the rear to hoot to the trailer. The GT I picked up has nothing. I'm going to be towing about 600 miles in a few days and want to strap down the transom so it's not relying on only the floater bar to stay on the trailer.

I do have a ski hook and was thinking about running 2 straps off of it just snug to prevent bouncing. The other idea was just running one entirely across the back under the headers. Both options require padding so it doesn't ruin the paint but both seem like a much safer alternative to throwing a strap over the pump or not running one at all.

I figure some kind of transom strap is necessary on these lighter boats with these quality roads we have here in California.

Hmmm ok well I guess I will check it out. He says its a light boat. 2 people can pick it up when it's stripped down. So I'm saying maybe 400 pounds. All the repairs are already done to the boat but it should be simple enough to pull the seats out of there and do whatever necessary work. I really didn't want a project boat which is why I was after something already done. What does it mean exactly to box the stringers? Do you guys think this boat is worth 5k?

Hey everyone, this is my first post on the forums but I am also on the Facebook page but figure this question would be better suited for forums.

I have been looking for a new bit for awhile now and havnt had much luck. I came across this GT and am going to go and take a look at it later today. The current owner has just finished replacing the floor, foot board and carpet due to a leak in the fuel cell so he replaced everything ehike he was tearing into it. From what I can tell in pictures it looks like a pretty good boat. What I can't figure out it he says this bit has no drain plug. I've never heard of anyour jet boat not having a drain plug. He says its cause it's a light layup boat, but I'm certain that has nothing to do with it. So the only thing I can think of is there was some repair done to the transom and they never put a new plug in? Or what else could it be? Also what is the true definition of a light layup boat. Anything I should stay away from?
