Thanks man! I agree
Sik deal, you can't miss. Rudy built a jeep of a boat. May be on the heavy side, but going to be a well built boat. Killer score.

That's what it seems like from the research I've been doing, assuming it's a real Rayson. I'm not looking for anything crazy top speed wise. I took my uncles to 70 and that felt pretty damn fast, maybe a few more mph would be nice but I want something that will fly from 0-60 and be drivable in some chop rather than big top speed.
My end goal is to have a reliable 75mph pump gas boat with about 500hp. Is this combo what I'm looking for? If not, I'm gonna consider trading it for something that is.
Can any one chime in about the model of the hull? I'm going out to Parker on the 16th to drive it for the weekend and then take it back to CA. I'll bring my go pro and get some footage. Hopefully it doesn't blow up!
My uncle also picked up this 88 Carrera with a 454 and a Dominator pump. Cosmetically it's hideous but this thing had some balls and it cut through the rough like butter. We were driving at least 40mph through some rough water pretty comfortably. He picked it up for $1500. Just needed some new hoses/plugs/oil and basic stuff. I like the V shaped hull but I think I want something a little flatter.
