Hey guys. Brand new to this board so first off, hello. I got the opportunity to drive a jet boat for the first time about a month ago over at my uncles place in Parker, needless to say I was hooked! My family is from Parker so both my uncles are old school river rats and they are both getting back into boats again. I'm into cars so I'm new to boating but the freedom of no speed limits and driving down the river was funner than anything I've ever driven on the road.

I have the opportunity to pick this boat up with a trailer for dirt cheap ($250) and my uncles going to pick it up tomorrow and trade it for his old Suburban he doesn't drive any more. A few questions.

The seller said it's a 1975 18' Rayson Craft, and I've looked online and it definitely resembles the hull. These are the only pics I have, but is it a Rayson?

460 BBF, 12J Berkeley pump with a manual place diverter. Says it has a new bottom end with 26 hours on it. Not sure on all the specs of the motor but it's a solid roller with head work, my uncle drove it today and said it's easily a 65-70mph boat.

Needs new paint and carpet, the paint scheme definitely isn't my cup of tea and I don't like the set up of the rear seats but it's too good of a deal to pass up.
