Just wanted to throw in my 2cents about silverwood.... Im running wet bassetts no baffles never any problem... But as previously mentioned about the coast guard trainees, a few of us were beached chillin, and they cruised by casting a wake with a white cap and swamped my float as well as my buddy's... They got an ass chewin' by us at the ramp, so it probably won't happen any time soon, but beware of them!!!

Silverwood conditions are excellent if you get there no later than 9am. That will give you a couple hours of water time before the circus comes to town, but they are getting there earlier every weekend. It would be nice to see more of us out this way...

I'm no expert by any means, however, I've always disconnect the drive to the jet for any  "engine running" work and run water of course as to not over heat...

 The fella i purchased the boat from kinda explained this "little issue"to me saying that he thinks the motor had too much hp for the jet  but also said the Jet had only 18 hours on the rebuild, but im afraid it needs one...

 No Jet is clean, when i say purge,i mean it's almost as if it's not moving water for a second when i let of pedal and stomp again it the boat will then "get it"... ?

I own a 77 challenger with a 454, when i stomp it, it seams to purge before it moves the boat. What is need to solve this? No up grade have been done to it as far as i know. Thanks in advance...

Was out on silverwood yesterday, it was a nice day, however, nothing but white caps all day, it beat up the family and myself pretty good... I purchased my boat 4 months ago and love it but haven't Been able to open it up without a major pucker if you now what i mean? I now there is a better lake out there? Thanks
