Jet Pumps / Re: Diverter with no roost??
« on: July 03, 2017, 12:20:00 PM »
Thanks for replying. The bubbles only appear about a sec or two after full up is reached (might do the same with "down" but that line is black compared to the other which is clear). On trailer, I get full range (and I know it has same range in water). The time it takes to go from full up to full down seems less than 5 secs. Reservoir is full and then some. And no chance of water in system. It's my first diverter but it seems like the most basic of hydraulic systems which is why I'm not sure of what I'm not seeing.

Jet Pumps / Diverter with no roost??
« on: July 02, 2017, 10:51:13 AM »
So I just picked up an Advantage 20.5 Classic BR that has an American Turbine pump with diverter. When I got it, it had no pump for diverter. So I picked one up and installed it. Took it out yesterday and once on plane, trimmed it all the way up and was disappointed to see that my "roost" wasn't even breaking the surface of water. When trimming up or down, I see some bubbles but cannot seem to bleed them out. My question are do I need to adjust the diverter nozzle and if not how do I get actual rooster. How does one bleed the air from the diverter lines? All I've seen is that trimming up/down several times self bleeds the air out but doesn't seem so in my case. Thanks.
