Well, I guess I should have told you a little bit more about what I have going on. The tanks are 8" round and close to 4' long. I picked up some of the strap mounts at the swapmeet yesterday, but I am not sure if I want to drill the holes in the bottom of the boat. I was thinking that I might fiberglass a piece of wood to the floor in the boat, and mount to that. Just looking for some more ideas.

Okay, I am looking for some advise on the best way to mount aluminum saddle tanks. The tanks that I have are 10 gal, and use the strap mount simular to the russel tanks. Thank you, Chris
