I did the panther conversion on mine from Tom @ JBP and it made the boat way smoother and more responsive. it also brought my rpm's way down i now cruise at 65-70 mph @ 4500 rpm rather than 6k or more. I also highly advise investing in a place diverter.

I bought a '78 Anthony with a 454 that i'm going to restore and it has a panther pump. I don't have the cash to switch to a Berk but i have been researching the conversion kit from Jet boat Performance for the panther pump. I was wondering if anybody has done this and what your experience has been with it. It seem's to be a pretty solid bolt up kit, i'm not looking to win drag races or anything but i enjoy going fast and want to have a solid pump system. But like i said i don't have the cash for a new berk or dominator setup or the glass work involved to make it work in this boat or i would. Ant feed back is greatly appreciated.
