Oh yah, I have no idea what size I would need. How would I find that out? The engine is completly stock, never been rebuilt, spent most of its life in the garage. Bought from the original owner. It is a hardin marine and the valve covers say 455 olds 390 h.p.

pics to be coming soon, night time right now! Can you tell me why I should change to a holley. I am in no way doubting your opinion and I appreciate you taking the time to advise me, it's just that the guy I bought the boat from said it ran great with the rochester and I don't know enough about it to go against that. Also, I have been told not to get parts for my boat from the auto parts store because auto parts and marine parts aren't made the same. Like I said, I just dont know. Thanks for your help.

I have a 1974 455 olds that needs a new carb. (quadrajet) and a new mechanical fuel pump. Anyone have either one for sale? Or maybe someone could point me in the direction of a good boat parts dealer. Yes, I'm a newbie, this is my first jet..... and I love it!
