I don't have a clue where I'll be. Hopefully the river between Laughlin and the London bridge. Might have to settle for Mead. I love watchin the prop boats trrying to launch at Hemmingway. If I do Mead I'll be at Sandy Beach and Wishing Well.

What is the history on the pump? Any damage? What size impeller? Does it have hydraulic trim? How old is it? What price? Is it out of the boat?

They are from a twin OMC jet drive. They are all aluminum. 1973 vintage and have no leaks. There is no brand name on them. They do not have risers. just the logs. No pictures as of yet. I have yet to learn how to upload pic to the site. The reason I'm selling them is I upgraded my exhaust to Imco Powerflow hedders with 3 inch exhaust hose and tips. The logs were a lot more quiet. I did gain about 300 rpm per engine with the Imco system. Very expensive since I'm running twins. One of the logs had a leak in the water jacket so that is why I'm selling 3 logs. I still have the bad one if anyone wants it as well.

Jet Pumps / Re: jacuzzi jets
« on: May 05, 2007, 12:22:11 PM »
The Jacuzzi Y  pump is a great pump for heavy big boats. The nozzle is larger than the Berkley or any of your high performance pumps. They were made for boats with small block engines, or pushin big boats  with big block engines over 22 ft. The highest recomended horsepower for this drive is 350hp. So this makes it undesirable for most power hungry jet boaters. They are not good for maximum top end speed thats why the energizer kits are made. They deliver more thrust at lower rpms then the other pumps. They are great pumps for the right application. For more information check out North American Marine jet pumps. They bought Jacuzzi and still manufacture the parts for the pump. The current version of the pump is called a Nomera and is still in production!

Jacuzzi Y pump parts  - especially shafts, C impellers, wear rings, jacuzzi trim. Specially interested if pump was in good working condition and upgraded to mix flow. The reason I'm interested in the mixed flow or "Energized" pump is not for the new energizer parts. I am interested only in the stock parts. If you are deciding to upgrade or have recently done so those old stock parts that are replaced are of value to me. They are usually in good condition if you are choosing to do the upgrade on a perfectly working pump. I am not looking to re sell them I have a boat with twin Jacuzzi y drives so I'm stocking up for future maintenece.
