Hello Everyone! Ive been following the site for a while now without joining, I finally broke down and am now legit. I have a 1996 Commander 2100lx with a marine power sport-pac 454 and a dominator jet. I am the original owner of the boat and have had no problems.... until last summer. I was fresh off the ramp out at havasu and all of the sudden a loud grinding noise, tons of vibration, and oil in the bilge. Needless to say I wasnt very happy. I immediately shut down and havent tried to turn it over since. I need to get the whole power plant freshened up along with the jet drive and whatever damage fixed. Seeing as I havent ever had a need for a mechanic, I dont know anyone tried and true to call. I am in southern california and need this done asap! The weather is heating up and I am getting the bug again. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give!
