This is a dumb question, but how did you get water in the oil in the first place?  What I mean is was it something you did on accident or did something fail? I’m just trying to save you the headache of changing the oil only to have it happen again.

head gasket or intake gasket failure.....or worse - cracked block or heads.

I milkshaked a motor pretty damn good. whats the best way to clear it out? I've heard some pretty wild ideas, but what is the most effective way to do it without burning a ton of money at the same time.

I have the hull and trailer left....it has a 3 tank system (2 sides and a bow) that are linked together with a fuel pump. It also has all the working cables in it and the panther pump that has a few hours on it after a new rebuild.

I have clean CA titles on both hull and trailer.

$500 firm for it all...come and get it.

Heres my side of the story....

Last week we confirmed that you would be driving out to Vegas to buy this boat from me today (9/30/10). You said you were a man of your word, it was a 'done deal' and I declined taking a deposit. Since then I have turned down offers to buy various parts off of it because they are parts I promised you that came with the boat.

Monday I sent you a PM confirming that we were still on for Thursday. I didn't get a response, but you were able to post on this site since then (here, here, here, and here)

I left you a voice mail yesterday morning offering to drive it out to Kingman (1/2 way) since I was off work yesterday. And I also called again this morning. I didn't not receive any return call, but you signed onto the site last night and again this morning - no word from you. I understand your in a time of crisis, but if ya have time to log in and post, you could have at least given me the heads up you weren't going to be able to make it. It wasn't until I had to call you out on the site you finally called me back.

I am sorry to hear about your dad. Best of luck to your family.

OK, there's really not a redneck way to "fix" this. I am a victim, as are about 12 other people on this site right now, of bad assembly and cutting some corners. Mine, I blame myself totally. I mandated improper tolerances for the application, and assembled myself accordingly, taking "close enough" as "good enough". Learned a $4k lesson on Moo. Never Again.

Do it right ONCE and the first time. Might cost up front, but take the time to measure, measure, measure while assembling and if sumpin ain't right, get it to a shop. You'll thank me later when next year, or the following year, or 5 years down the road, your boats still running and a lot aren't.  ;)

Ray

yeah, i am usually the one preaching the same thing, but never practice it.
