« on: April 22, 2011, 07:14:07 PM »
The community is The Palms River Resort in North Needles 2 minutes off the 40 frwy at the River Road exit. The Avi Casino is about 12 minutes north and 15 to 20 minutes more to Laughlin. The community is very active and holds many events through out the year. I actually live in Willow Valley myself and transfered here from SoCal to sell homes in this community. I have worked with this developer for almost a decade and know this communith inside and out. I have been on the water boating since I was a youngster and know the river pretty well also. Give me a call if you would like, thank you, Dan.

Yes, I will be there. I am helping the Chamber out this year.  I will be taking a lot of photos for the event and helping Billy B out also. What type of boat are you bringing and what is the name? I'll look for you. I'm the Old School Marine guy on Facebook.

Check out Old School Marine on Facebook for Colorado River Info. You can actually be on your boat with smart phone in hand and access your Facebook Ap then go to your (OSM) Old School Marine page for towing, weather, storm warnings, boating laws, river water level, auto parts etc, besides the social aspect of the page it is geared towards the Old School boater kinda peeps like us. I guess you would say the page is to have fun but also to help someone in need of help or assistance whether they are on land or the water, Hang loose.  www.facebook.com/OldSchoolBoats

Topock / Laughlin / Re: Is river Ok for boating Late Febuary?

Launch at Jack Smith in Needles. Deep water all the way to the gorge. If you need to go north of the Needles Bridge you got to be careful. Join Old School Marine also for Colorado river levels too, could be helpful.
