I run brad Penn in all of my boats and mud drag truck and never had a problem. Motors look as clean as the day they were new. Wix filters are great Fleetguard and Baldwin also make great filters and will stand behind there stuff.

Im still interested . I just started my build and am in need of a je pump. Im building an all aluminum flat bottom boat with a nice sbc. Making a shallow water river boat of sorts. I cannot for the life of me find another pump close to me or at all for that matter

I would check the jets on your secondarys/back bowel on holley. Sounds like a stuck jets or float in a back bowel. Just my newbie opinion.

I have run holley red pumps on many different engines never had problems with them. I have personally put hundreds of hours on the red pump for my demo setup and its never missed a beat. JHMO
