Projects / New Project-Rail kit

Guys, would like your thoughts on rail kit features for a new install. I need to take my intake out to put a new one in, so while the boat is apart, I thought I might redo my engine compartment rigging. There are a few things I want to change, but would like thoughts(and preferably pix) of ideas/features that made an install cleaner, more functional or just plain trick.

Used hardened shaft in good shape. New Koyo Bearing. New shaft with bearing cost me $500, would like $275 out of this one. I was running this and thought it was stock so replaced with a new AQ from MPD. Come to find out this one was magnetic(hardened). My loss, your gain. Buyer pays shipping. Shaft is in Socal. Can make local deliveries free of charge on OC/San Diego areas...

Random Boat Parts For Sale / Split bowl for sale with ride plate cradle

$250 for both obo plus shipping.

One of the bolt holes for the cradle looks like it needs to go up a size to 3/8, threads are a little munched. Definitely savable.

Not sure of what brand the bowl is, possibly AT.

Engines / Engine Parts For Sale / Fuel System Components Fo Sale

For sale-Very nice fuel tank selector valve. There are some blemishes on the solenoid covers but you wont notice them unless you get up close & personal. Unit worked fine when I removed it. My tank pickups are too small so I need to pull from both at one time to get proper fuel pressure-otherwise It would be on my boat. $150 plus shipping obo.

Next for sale is a Mallory 140gph fuel filter. Fresh polish job, some minor blemishes but still in excellent condition. Replaceable filters available at summit. $80 when new, will sell for $35 plus shipping.

I swapped to DNE angled covers to fit my Imco's. These are standards and have DYno time plus 1 hour run time. THey are perfect. $250. Price them new and then come buy these from me. Dave has them at the shop.

Boats For Sale / 1990 Proboat 21 Ft Jet

Considering getting into a new project. Todo it this thing has to go.

This is the only pic I have right now. Clean boat. Brand new carpet, clean interior(also have engine cover) Alpine stereo with amp & 1-12, 4-6's. 9 brand new Auto Meters ultra lite Marine series. All new wiring. Set back Berk is fresh with Bronze A impeller.Shoe, rideplate & hydraulic diverter. Full braided stainless plumbingwith AN fittings including lines to mechanical gauges & diverter. 800 hp DNE built NA 548 on lightning rail kit with direct drive alternator. Lots of polished, powdercoated & annodized parts. Imco Powerflow exhaust. Full tilt Wilson ported Victor Jr with HP950 carb. Motor has maybe 8 hours on it. Boat hauls ass for a 21. Haven't GPS'd, but Id estimate conservative mid 80s with no tuning. $32k obo.

Will post more pix if there is any interest. Nice hotrod family cruiser with room for 5-6. Lots of storage under bow. Have caught several unsuspecting 18-19 foot hotrod boats off guard.

Bought for my white boat. Not going to use it. Pair this with an msd window switch and you have your own banderlog switch. 12 volt, continuous duty, brass body, stainless internals, can withstand 230 psi. Normally on or off depending on how you wire it. Fiarly small, fits in the palm of your hand. 1/2 inch plumbing ports.

Paid 90 plus shipping...Will sell for $40 plus shipping or will consider local deliveries.

Used BBC 3/8 connecting Rod with .060 used pistons. Set of 8. $100 obo plus shipping

Used Cast Crank, BBC 4" $100 obo plus shipping

Used Aluminum Agressor A impellor with used wear ring. I replaced it because I added some horsepower to the boat. Worked fine when I took it out. a few mild dings that will repair with some light file work. $150 obo plus shipping.

All parts are sold as is.

BBC Flywheel
Stock 10qt oil pan(ugly) but it works.

Direct drive alternator, all new wiring throughout, no hacked wires. New black marine carpet. All new cables, billet foot throttle, billet fuel caps, stainless 15 gallon Imco's(2). Refurbed helm, billet hub. Jeff Bennett Bottom. Super comfy lowback corbeau seats. Clean double axle trailer, good tires, all new bearings. 1 hour on boat/pump after full resto.

**Note boat also has cavitation plate recesses for those of you who are interested in racing in circles. This boat hauls the mail in chop. Come check it out.

What it needs: A motor, gauges, plumbing and rub rail.
