So this weekend I started my week long vacation which was also my first trip. Seemed like everything that could go wrong did. My wife blew a tire coming out, next day I discovered that my tail lights on my K5 Blazer went out,( still trouble shooting) next day my fuel pump went out on the way back to my river pad. Seriously like 1.5 miles away! I was pissed. However I got two good days of boating out of it and wife and kids still had a blast!

I just boat a 82 Eliminator, it has a 454 bbc, and the temp gage isn't working. I checked the wires for any possible loose wires, everything looks fine. When I run the motor, gage doesn't move, but when I shut it down the gage moves and reads a temp. However I don't know if it is reading the right temp. Any suggestions?
