Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Timing question

Hey guys so I figured out that my distributor took a crap on me just ordered one for my bbc. I'm getting spark from the coil but not threw the distributor. now my question is how in the world do I set timing an how hard is it to do never really done one so if someone would like to help me out that would be appreciated also thanks in advance

Jet Pumps / Couple pump questions

Ok guys got a couple questions on my pump one dose anyone know of to rebuild these things that could show me or help me do it number two this growling that everyone talks about or vibration is this going forward or is it in reverse now the reason why I'm asking is while I'm going forward it's perfectly fine but the minute I put the bucket down. To back up it feels like it's growling if that makes sence an number three last time I took her out I was at big river an noticed it squirting water out where the rope seals are around the shaft now I know theirs suppose to be a piece (I forgot the name of it sorry) but it's got like 2 bolts on it an u can tighten them how bad is this beacuae I don't have one thanks guys I'm in the process of getting her ready for this summer oh an another thing I was in parker for the tube float last year from parker to big river it also didn't feel like I had nearly the same power I did I'll try an awnser all ur guys questions also its a 12jc just so you guys know thanks agian

This is a 1985 cloemen willamsburg pop up tent trailer everything works on this trailer from the water pump to the lights to even the roof top ac an heater witch you don't find very often the tank holds water all the plumbing works just got to get rid of it new rims tires an wheel bearings has a spare an a full bottle of propane that I'll include with it an the old rims an tires the bad part about this pop up is the abs plastic parts for the front an the back an also the corner pieces the smaller of the bed's one side of the bed rail is bent roof dose not leak come check it out text me for more pictures need this thing gone before thanksgiving 6265434927

Well boys I'm testing waters here going to be going to school in march for 4 months an possibly need to sell this thing it's a 75 sanger motors strong she's a full roller 454 with a holly 750 dp interior needs to be redone an a couple other things she gets up an goes I don't have a price on it just wanna see what I can get outta her won't go lower then 3k

I/O's / 93 ultra cooling

My buddy's got a 21 foot I/o merc 5.7 in it what happens is we hook the hose up to test an none is coming out the exhaust now I'm not an I/o guy so anything helps thanks guys

So last weekend when I took the float out for the first time shoot me if I'm stupid but when idling an moving looks like steam coming from outta my exhaust but when I'm going at about 3k theirs nothing only when idling is it doing this so my question is is this normal an if not how the heck do I fix it I also had no over heating issues boat never good an not hot an ran like a champ all day

Alright boys was seeing who's all going to be at either lake perris or Elsinore let me know I'm gunna try an pass perris inspection but if I don't I'm heading down to Elsinore if anyone is going let's make this a mini meet or something I'm rolling out with my buddy who's got a 79 hallett the float will be done an on the water by then let's get together for some bad decisions haha

Dip stick keeps shooting oil outta the dip stick tube anyone have an idea on why it keeps doing this when I turn it over a lot I'm trying to adjust the carb an if I turn it over a lot it spits oil outta the dip stick

Dose anyone know how to tune a holly 750 double pumper an also my gauges go all hay wire when the boats running my Rpms at over 6k at idle lol and also don't know if my temp gauge is working right also need a steering cable for a 18ft Sanger with a berk 12jc if anyone's got one I also have one for sale idk what kind it is will post pictures in the am when I wake up also need to wire up a fuel gauge if anyone can help me out
