Some of y'all might know me from the Performance Boats website, where the massive build thread is, but I just figured that I would post up the first splash pics over here, too. That's me in the passengers seat, and my partner on the project in the drivers seat. He wanted to idle out of the no wake zone, so I let him, but then we immediately switch and I was first to get it on plane. Unfortunately, that's as far as I got because the exhaust rocker arm for the #2 cylinder came loose, so it was making a terrible clanking sound, so we just limped back to the ramp and pulled the cover, but I need to go get a lock nut and switch it out. So, tomorrow or Wednesday is the next ride, hopefully with some picks of it going by. And my dad is an awful cameraman, who doesn't know how to work the zoom apparently. But, I'm happy, everything else worked perfectly. I got the packings adjusted just right up at the house apparently, there was just a slow drip coming from them. But, there were also a couple other very slow leaks, but nothing a bilge pump won't fix. Thanks for everyone's help. Now here's the pics.
