So long story.... I was cruise down river when I heard a noise from my engine bay. I took a look back there and my alternator belt slightly shredded and had come off the pulley. I turn around and started to head back up river. While heading up river my engine died, most likely batteries died.

So when this happened I was pointed toward shore and ended up beaching my boat. A real cool couple cruised by and were able to pull me off he bank but in doing so my logs back filled with water and filled some of the piston cylinders. I didn't find this out until I tried to start it a couple times and notice it was acting like it was hydro locked.

So I pulled my plugs and cranked the engine over until I pushed all the water out. I checked the oil and it seems like I have got a little water mixed in there. I put the plugs back in and tried to start it and it will fire up for a second and die. I tried to start it several times with no success. I ended up pulling the plugs and cranking it over to exhaustive water, but very little to nothing came out. I repeated this process several times, still no start. I decided to check my comprssion and I got 130 to 140 in all cylinders. I have clean the plugs checked the gaps and even unbolted the logs to drain and left over water in the logs... Still won't start for more then a second. Any ideas please. I am getting ready to wd40 the cylinders for the night and come back at it tomorrow.

I am looking for someone in the BHC area to paint my 18 foot Howard. It currently has orignal gel coat but the metal flake is exposed. I want to keep the orignal paint scheme (blue and white) so should make things go a little quicker. Also I am not opposed to shooting it on the trailer since I will be keeping very similar colors. I am doing all the prep work but dont have facility to shoot it. Thanks in advance!
