Jet Pumps / Berkeley 12jg bowl removal question

Hey guys! I need to replace my bowl oil seal and was wondering if I need to take the transom adapter plate off or if there is a trick to just pulling the bowl by itself. Thanks!!

Jet Pumps / PD ride plate on Carrera Eclipse

Hey guys,
I'm debating on purchasing a place diverter ride plate for my 20.5 ft carrera eclipse but don't know if it will make much difference for the fact it's a longer boat already. I know I should do a custom ride plate but I really don't want to pull the pump. I have a hydraulic diverter and a droop already on it and made a world of difference. Any advice will help.  Here are some pics
