I used this once to drain the oil out of my engine so I could install a permanent drain tube and save my sanity. Why people put an engine in a jet boat without one is beyond me...    but this was a real life saver, no mess and actually got 98% of the oil out with some patience. So I just bought a 75 Hallett with a 460 with a bunch of shiny holman moody parts (let me add I had no clue who they were when I bought the boat). The bell housing has a identification tag with a serial number so I got curious and started researching... The number belongs to a 460 marine engine built in 1975... My question is, would this be the original engine? Was this a common Hallett motor choice? Or is this just a huge coincidence that someone put a bellhousing that's the same year as the boat? Any info would be appreciated...
