Jet Pumps / American Turbine AT/S
« on: April 10, 2016, 05:42:20 PM »
Hey guys,

I'm pretty new to the jet scene and I'd like to see if I can find some maintenance info for my setup. I've done the Google thing and have poked around on AT's website. I can't find anything that deals with my particular model. The AT-309 is the most similar pump to what I am running. What I know about the pump is its a model AT/S with option A / HTR. I know the pump was recently gone through and has a bronze A cut impeller, stainless shaft and a B1 loader.

From what I've figured out, the pump runs dry with only grease around the packing bearing and the tail bearing. Is this correct?  There is no oil in it like a Berkeley pump, correct?  So it's just grease the two points and call it good?

Jet Pumps / Suction Housing Bolts
« on: October 15, 2015, 06:46:55 PM »
Hey guys, looking for a little help and info here. This is my first jet so be gentle. Lol!  I just picked up a boat from another member and while looking everything over I noticed that the rear bolts on both sides of the suction housing, closest to the keel, look like they're backed out. Are these supposed to be snugged down?  Any other time I would typically just run them in but with this being my first jet boat I'm hesitant to do so.

This is an American Turbine pump with a ride plate and B1 loader. Thanks guys.

Hey guys,

New to the jet boat scene. Been lurking around the forum for a while.  Just bought Sam's 94 Carrera.  Pretty solid float.  Looking forward to meeting and seeing some of you on the water.
