Getting ready to pull my Olds motor and drop in a BBC real soon. The Olds motor is getting pulled out on Saturday. It runs strong, and it's had a few upgrades from GS Marine. Electronic MSG distributor and new Bassett headers with just one outing on them. I have no idea how many hours on this motor or what's inside of it as far as parts go. This was the motor that came with the boat when I purchased it a couple of years ago.

$750 takes it....the headers alone cost me over a grand.

I will be saving a few parts, some of the senders and the coil. And I have a scoop for the carb.

I finally decided to rip the Olds 455 out of my Hondo and throw in a BBC . I was running Bassett wet headers with the Olds motor but have been thinking about running some sort of LOGS set up when we finally drop the new motor in. Has anybody done this before? Any tips or tricks to look out for?
