I'm found a pan it's for a gen 6     But what I've been told 5/6 have same pan bolt pattern

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / BbC hearing a clatter noise under a load 1800-3000 rpm

Big block 454  went out a couple days ago  ran great except I'm hearing what sounds like clatter not a knock just sounds like noisy valves I can only get the boat to do it when it's under a load ... now I have through transom headers  it kinda sounded like the exhaust flappers but I got to thinking u can hear it in the boat  can't hear it at and idle can't hear t one the trailer    Anyone else have a exhaust leak that sound like pinging valves ? Oil pressure is good 38-40 per the gage ...
