So for anyone interested my friend owns chuckawalla race way and he is now a vp distributor. 100 and 110 at the pumps. If you call in advance he can have any VP fuel you want drop shipped and waiting for you. It's a pretty easy shot to the racetrack off of desert center even if you are going to Blythe. He also just got the 1/8 mile strip going out there for any who are interested in that.

I have 8 inch by 48 inch saddle tanks...nice aluminum fuel fillers...all brackets. I'm looking to trade for a center mount stack tank (2 cells stacked) with brackets. I also have a smaller center mount drag tank, with an enderle 80a fuel pump, cam driven with brackets.

Interior / Snap in fiberglass seat covers

So I figured that seat covers for fiberglass buckets would be somewhat common? I’ve called 6 different upholstery shops in the Coachella valley and gotten bids to recover my buckets...450 to 600 hundred a piece! Does anyone know where to buy snap in covers? Do those bids sound right? I work for a living

I’m not a cheapskate but damn those seats are small to have 1000 in them! Any ideas? Any seats to be bought online? Seen some but don’t wanna buy them and they show and are trash.

Gelcoat / Paint / Fireberglass Repair / Southwind tunnel fiberglass help and questions

So the bulkhead (wood divider under the bow. It was attached to the stringers and to bow completely sealing the bow off)in this southwind I picked up is rotted. But it looks to be added at some point. Half assed actually. Boat was used as a drag only boat but I’m gonna make it a river boat. Obviously a fast one but river boat nonetheless. Is the bulkhead necessary in a southwind? None of my other jets had one. It would be cool to not have it so I could store stuff under the bow.
