I have a 79 catalina 18 special it has a 8 terminal strip 468 bbc a accel coil/ distrubitor a Delco 3 wire alternator and electric fuel pump. Most of thr diagrams show a 7 terminal strip I changed the alternator now the boat won't shut off I had to wire in a switch to kill power to the coil to get out the other day it ran awesome other than the shut down problem. I'm pretty sure I got the wires right on the alternator if anyone has a diagram it would be great. The season is short in Canada thanks.
