I need help with my motor build. I bought a new long block ford 460 from summit. Install new aluminum heads and roller rockers etc. I am at a dead end installing the front motor mount plate. Is there an alternative or is that front plate a must? This plate is blocking the screw hole for the alternator bracket. The damper I was told to use rubs on the motor plate. Is there any recommendations I need to get this right ? My harmonic balancer is 6.7 and must use the damper M-6359-D460. Before I throw more money down drain, can someone shine some light on this . My boat hasn’t been in water in 2 years due to a complete overall on motor and floor.
