Random Boat Parts For Sale / Energizer kit like new
« on: June 02, 2014, 01:32:48 PM »
I have a Jacuzzi YJ Energizer pump that's like new. It say's Dominator on the nozzle so I'm guessing that's who's kit it is.  Aluminum A impeller.   I got it off a boat being scrapped by the water department.  I'd bet it doesn't have 1 hour on it. I took it apart to look it over. I used the black nozzle adapter on my Ultra, but have a white one that's also like new.  It's a bit dirty from sitting but otherwise in great shape.  Asking $800.00 Located in Riverside.

The No Wake Zone / No river this year !
« on: October 07, 2012, 10:10:44 PM »
Well my very short river season ended rather abruptly Saturday.  I have been doing a resto on my Ultra for the better part of 2 years.  We took it out to Elsinore to do the first shake down, hoping everything would go well enough so we could join the group at Avi next weekend.  Well about 3/4 of lap around the lake I guess my motor over powered my used bowl.  I did a little burst and at about 4800 rpm I heard a big bang and the boat nosed over.   "Houston, I think we have a problem!"

Oh well, I guess I'll have an early start on next year.  I hope you guy's all have fun next weekend.  We'll meet up at the next one.

The No Wake Zone / Allow me to introduce myself....
« on: September 20, 2012, 08:33:44 AM »
Just wanted to do a quick introduction over here,  My name's Greg and I cruise in and out of here from time to time but I haven't involved myself with the conversation on this fine sight.  I've been doing a resto on a previously crashed 19' Ultra tunnel hull for almost 2 years.  Well It's almost time to actually take it to the river for the first time even though summers about over.  I've become friends with Crewchief 22 through business and we always talk boats and river.  I've been jealous every time he comes back from one of your outings with a big smile and stories of the weekends adventures and I always tell him , "One of these times I'm going to make it out with you guy's."  Well he told me about your end of summer get together at Avi in Oct and I think that will be about perfect timing for me.  So, I'm going to make my reservations and hope that the little bastad called "Murphy " doesn't find me and throw a wrench into my plans at the last minute.  I don't have a complete picture of the boat, just a bunch of build pictures, but it's what I call a FED EX color scheme, white with purple and green  tribal stripes  guess you could say.  That way maybe someone can wave me down and point me in the right direction if I'm wondering aimlessly up and down the river looking lost.  Hope to meet all of the SCJB clan that's going, Greg
