I got a 78 Eliminator bubble deck and took it out a few weeks ago after some carb issues.  The boat lacked power off the start and thought it was related to my carb issues,  might have been. Was loading it on the trailer and heard a few clunking noises that I have'nt heard before.  Got the boat home and looked up into the grate and what do you know my inducer wasnt there.   To say the least I was pissed, but how could this happen.  There was a plastic beg wrapped around the shaft, but came right off.  Lost in the sauce, so if anyone has .02 to put in it would be appreciated!!  The pump is a 12jg Berk.

Took the boat out to blow all the cobwebs out.  Would inly rev up about 3900 rpm's.  Ususally runs up to 5000 or so.  It appeared to be starving of fuel.  Run a Holley 4150(?) and just replaced the accelerator pump gasket. It has a fuel regulator w/ a guage.  Guage reads about 6psi.  Doesnt seem the secondary's are opening up and runs sluggish.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Went to Parker this weekend and the boat ran great, but an old fuel tank bracket hole became unplugged.  We woke up the next morning and discovered the boat with water in it.  Luckily the boat was in 2' of water.  Water found its way in possibly through the dipstick area.  Didnt run it the rest of the weekend.  Brought it home and the oil looked like a vanilla milkshake!  I heard of pickling the motor or changing the oil several times.  Any one have any good advise?  Lost in the sause....
