I have two tempo 12 gallon moulded plastic gas tanks,with fuel gauge and vented cap.I had them in my hallet flat bottom but sold the boat without them.cleaning up around the house....80 bucks for the set.

I was wanting to put a tee inline on my jetboat so i can visually see that its pumping water at all times.Where do i install it at i am running logs? also is this needed? i see alot of boats that do this.Is there any advantage or dis?

I have a 496 medium built motor with the arp stud kit on it ...a few people told me not to run them because they will ( in time ) leak>???Are they stonger than the bolts? advantages / disadvantages? thanks for any info guys>>>Also i am running merlin world product heads cast.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / keep wearing down my bronze drive gear..??? wtf

I just had this motor built short block by a shop in so cal and the motor has only 9 hrs on it when the boat just shut off. Upon further inspection i noticed the the bronze dist. drive gear wore down and a few of the teeth were gone. Thus putting the motor way out of time and it shutting off.What caused the disr drive gear to do that? its a chevy 494 top end roller , chet herbert cam.any help thanks.so i changed my cam button on the front of the motor to a tighter spec and the gear started doing the same thing.
