Just Heard that some thieves broke into Ted Kolbys Racing Trailer that was stored in Havasu and Cleaned him out. In the interest of promoting River Racer Jet Tav construction will pay the entry fee's for all boats (excluding CJ's who have raced the 2013 season openers) signing up for the April Parker Races. Finney Plastics, Rodger Finney will sponsor the class with a $ 500.00 Prize Pool to be paid to the top 3 finishers for the week end. There has been a lot of interest in bringing back this class so now it's time to step up and have fun. Boats and Drivers must meet all APBA Safety conditions.

Boat Racing / Burley race 6/25 & 6/26 Cancelled

Just got off the phone with Mark Moyle in Burley. Due to high flood waters and with more to come they are cancelling the races.They wanted to give us plenty of notice so people could cancell their reservations or change their vacation days. As for the CJ's there is a race in Black lake washington in july, i believe it is the 8&9 th. Who would be interested in going?

Bought a new Chev 1500 extended cab and it had these side steps which i took off. They fit from 2007 - 2011 All hardware incl $ 200.00.

The No Wake Zone / Noise in 4.8 L chev motor.

There has to be some Chev Techs out here. I have a 2007 truck with a 4.8L that is making a funny engine noise. It sounds like a metal rattling noise on the drivers side . Disconnected belt so i know that its not belt driven equip. Not valves or rods because the motor runs good, no check engine light. Not from flywheel because when i rev it up id stays pretty consistant. Any Ideas

Just recieved call from Jeff Conant The Races have been Cancelled for Feb 19 & 20. There were not enough boats in the other classes for a show. he thanked the CJ 's for their support , and he will let it be known that we supported their club. Looks like Puddingstone will be our first race this year. Let me know who plans on showing up.

I talked to Mark Moyle this morning the sanction should be out this week. Also there will be tow money given but they have cancelled the friday night Shoot Outs due to low sponsorships.

I have just been informed that the races for 9-26 & 9-27 are cancelled. SCSC has decided to cancel the races because of boat count. There was just not enough entries to pay for the cost of putting on the race.

I have recieved numerous calls reguarding the Comp Jets being sanction to race this event. The committee has informed the Inboard Commissioner that we would have to pass on this event due to the economy and low boat count. We did say that we would welcome being invited next year.

The Entry fee's are $ 300.00 for the weekend + $ 20.00 Endurance fund. I f we elect it to be our Nat'l Finals there is an additional fee of $ 50.00 per boat to be paid out to the group as prise money. I need to get some input as to boat count and if we want it to be the Nationals.
