Hi, I am new to jet boats, they seem to be a little rare up here and I am wondering about the hull on a boat I recently purchased. The guy I bought from said something about titanium when i bought it but was not paying much attention. I have been trying to find out about this but when I try to find out info on the boat nobody around here knows much about it. I've found two others listed for sale both advertising fibreglass/titanium hulls. Are they refering to the stringers? or a composite type of hull? My boat is a 1989 18'cougar bubbledeck with same basic set up, here is a copy of one of the ads:

1990 18 ft cougar jet boat with 1987 454 motor .Berkley jet,stand up- water injection chrome pipes, titanium/fibergass hull.

Has anyone heard about these boats or this type of hull? Thanks for any help.
