Here we have a complete (I mean everything) interior from a 1990 Carrera 20.5 Elite Open Bow.

This is the original, unmolested stuff in fantastic condition.  Use as-is or recover... you'll be happy either way.  The wood is all coated in resin and in great shape.  A replacement interior will be $6500+ (ask me how I know :D) Moving away from this due to replacing the log exhaust and the "doghouse" will not accommodate.  INCLUDES CUSTOM TEAK SKI LOCKER COVER $$

No rips, tears, etc. except for the two very back seat cushions have started to split.  Really no other major issues.

-K&N GC Approved Spark Arrestor
I've heard that the 1050's don't like scoops, so I went with this unit.

You add all this stuff up and you'll see some big savings

Boats For Sale / **Beautiful Eliminator Bubble**
« on: August 19, 2008, 06:40:08 PM »
As seen on Performance Boats... I hate to copy but it's so easy!  8)

A very CLEAN Boat!

LESS ENGINE

-Mfg: 1978
-Beautiful original gel w/ full stringers
-Berk JC w/ manual diverter, ride plate, loader etc. Intake etc. cleaned up
-New tuck-n-roll interior w/ 5 colors... never seen water!
-New trailer tires
-New steering system
-MSD box w/ Distributor
-Blue top gel battery
-Custom cover
-9 gauges: 5 in dash, 4 on a chrome bracket
-Key and button start w/ kill switch
-Stainless lines throughout

Includes everything you need to install a 454:
-H20 Lines
-Wiring w/ breaker
-Driveline
-Motor Mounts
-Fram HP Fuel filter
-MSD
etc...

I bought this boat a year ago for the engine, then I had plans to run it this summer and race it, but it didn't work out and I'm going back to my original plan... a motor for my Carrera.  To prep if for the water after sitting for 8 years I had the interior completely rebuilt, installed new steering, cables, lines, replaced gauges.  Down to the battery and water lines, she is READY to run and just needs an engine!

Trailer is in good condition.  I checked the bearings etc. and are in good working order.  Has a few places I sanded in prep for paint.  Has fiberglass fenders and alum wheels w/ new tires.

This boat raced in the late 1970's-80's as "Running Wild" #565.  She sat for years until I found her in a garage with the 3rd owner, I believe.  The gel is in perfect condition, as well as the stringers etc... no rot, cracks, major repairs etc.  This boat did more sitting than running.

Engines / Engine Parts For Sale / **Tunnel Ram w/ 2 fresh 850's COMPLETE!
« on: February 20, 2008, 12:47:52 PM »
Weland Tunnel Ram COMPLETE ready to install on your rect. port 454!

-2 850 Holley's being gone through as we speak
-Linkage
-Rex fuel rail
-All lines with gauge
-Dooley scoop WITH flame arrestors and cover

The carbs hasn't seen fuel for a few years so I’m having them gone through. The anodizing has faded on the fittings and the scoop needs a polish.

I'll get more pics when I pick it up this Sunday but this is what I have for now.

You guys know how much all of this would go for, especially the carbs, scoop and arrestors!

Jet Pumps / Free spinning...
« on: December 23, 2007, 09:41:16 PM »
How much pressure should it take to turn the shaft of a berk, free spinning?

It seems it's taking quite a bit of strength to turn the shaft in my project Eliminator... Every other jet i've played with seems to turn quite easily, but this one is pretty tight. It moves, just not as loose as i'm used to.  There's no grinding, and the shaft looks clean... eg. no debris.

Is this a sign of bearing issues, or do I need to work out more?

Projects / Eliminator Bubble Mini-project
« on: December 18, 2007, 09:41:29 PM »
So after a few years of being done with “project” boats I found this little beauty!  It has been sitting for years, but the hull is in fantastic condition. I’m waiting to see what’s in the engine!

It’s a 1978 Eliminator Bubble, 4-bolt 454, Berk. JC, Diverter, ride plate etc…
Someone was racing it at one point as #565 “Running Wild” It still has the kill switch etc.

The kicker: when I pulled the interior I found an empty Miller light can, a bottle of tanning oil and three porn mags… still in the paper bag, although moldy, all from the early 80’s.

The premise was to keep this a good budget project.  I’m going to keep this baby for local trips and leave the Carrera out at the river. My dream is to get both on the water so I can stand on the beach and force myself to decide which one I want to run  ;D

If you guys can help me out I need the following:

-Used interior… preferably matching! Or a reference to anyone that can do it on a budget
-A place to paint the trailer OR a someone that can shoot it cheap
-Used steering cable or assy, rotary.
-Used steering wheel
-Used (operable) diverter cable

I'll keep ya'll updated!

Last Sat I had the motor pulled for a little freshening up. I found a milkshake, most likely from a blown head gasket it appears. I have to make this thing run pump gas, and new springs, valves, etc etc is going in… I’m not taking any chances!

Looking for a steering assy with cable, or just the cable for a rotary system.

Needs to be long enough for a 78' Elim. Bubble.

Also looking for a cheap steering wheel!
