Background: the boat is a 1975 Fantasy that has been in my family for over 20 years, has a 455 in it right now that my father rebuilt years ago with the origional quadrajet on it and heavy gold flake paint. The paint has gone way south resulting in the clear coat coming off in huge flakes and i never cared for

Plans: I will be using a spare LS1 i have running it on the loose side of factory specs with LS6 (243 heads flow more air than the regular ones) with a bunch of stuff to boot looking for around 475hp out of it which i have achieved NA very easily and still passed smog in the cars these motors come out of.

Hello all a newbie here i have a 76 Fantasy ill be completely overhauiling upon some research ive figured out it has a jacuzzi WJ pump on it (i didnt know anything about pumps) also has a 455 olds. ill be taking the olds out in favor of a spare LS1 i have my question is what is the power limits of the WJ? i was thinking of rebuilding it and running it
