anyone out there ever heard of a placecraft tunnel named NON FICTION back in the mid 90ies=the medford boat that i picked up was last registered in az mid 90ies-i will post pictures when i get it back to sac-alot of pink-seats/gas tank mount and boat highlites

i here you are the one to talk to about tunnel dragsters=im am looking for the inspection cover on the back of the pods=do the oem ones have writing on them or a design or just plain aluminium plate=i would like to find an original one if you have one or know who does==thanks doug

picked up these two boats today

75 daytona=rock damage to hull

76 bubbledeck= needs cleaning=pump has been worked and has a bronze impellar=will be putting this pump in my southwind dragster

we started the new years off right-about 200 people and 50 or so boats -44 degrees overcast -water cold as heck- couldnt ask for anything better-

Jet Pumps / cavatation issues

i am experiencing this problem on my hole shot=have never had this issue before impeller change

southwind=460=500hp= setup before problem=stuffer/ droop/ride plate/loader grate/b impeller/5200 rpm==hole shot was great

bearing seized on pump shaft so i change out pump with a "A" impeller=5000rpm now have cavatation issue on hole shot

why would going from "B" to an "A" cause this=

rolling start i have no problem

fathers day weekend was not a good day=my bearing siezed up on the jet so i went home and got my spare jet and installed it at the lake=when putting it in the water their was a small fan shaped spray coming from under the mounting flange= is it possible that the torque from seizing up could crack an intake

will a loader grate cause your pump to produce more pressure=never had a problem with blowing hoses off before=took boat out this weekend and kept blowing water lines off=berkeley jg pump w/ b impeller/500hp 460  thanks doug
