is it really quitting? you're still technically addicted to the nicotine.  why not just quit straight up?

Addicted to nicotine yes.  Inhaling 4000 plus chemicals is what I wanted to take a pass on.  My personal goal is to step down my nicotine level to 0 over the next 6 to 9 months or so. 

I wish that quiting was just that easy.  For me personally it just wasnt the case.  Nicotine is one of the most addictive substances on the planet.  Ask any smoker and they will tell you its one of the hardest things to do.  Not to mention that being deployed is one of the worst times to try and quit but I'm making it work.  I found this to be the greatest alternative because it still has the overall feel of still smoking.  I even go out to the smoke pit here and get the social aspect of it.  Plus when I have a beer or 10 I know damn well that I will want to smoke.  So this is my best option at this point.  I tried the patch and had success but went back to smoking 4 months later.     

I was just on there looking at prices.  A rebuild kit is 239 without impeller, 459 with impeller included.  Good prices I think.

Will I broke two valves getting them out.  They look rough probably would have to replace them.  I was thinking of just replacing the heads instead of doing a shitload of work.  I haven't taken them to a machine shop yet to see how much it would be to get them cleaned up.  What type of heads can I use?

So I took the intake and the heads off, and it is a total disaster inside...   Since it has been sitting for about a year (I was deployed) the tarp that was covering it ripped.  Water leaked down into the motor, I hadnt realized how bad until I pulled the heads off.  It looks like surface rust, I don't think the pistons or walls are pitted, I haven't taken it all the way apart yet.  I need some input from the experts.  Will I be able to just clean it up and put it back together?  I will be putting pics up later so you get a better idea how extensive the damage was.  But as long as there is no pitting I can just clean everything and be good right?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the 12 pack might of had something to do with that.

Home Depot carries stainless steel nuts bolts and washers.  Whenever I need to replace one I just take it in and use their handy dandy bolt sizer thing to make sure I'm getting the right one.  Spend the extra dough and you will be better of in the long run.

On the verge of (or well past) the point of sounding like a complete idiot,  what exactly does the accelerator pump do?  And whats the advantages of having a spread bore over a square bore or vice versa?

None taken.  There is only one way to learn and that is by taking shit apart to see how it works.  Plus alot of reading.  However I don't have the time to do either because I'm working too much and mix in a drop or two of laziness.  I think I'm just going to buy a new or remanufactured one, they seem to be pretty well priced on ebay.  I'm thinking I'm gonna go with a 750 dp with mechanical sec, just one more question, what is the difference between square bore and not?  Oh and what is the difference between a single and doulbe pump (other than the obvious) ?May sound stupid but gt pretty much hit the nail on the head.
