What's wrong with it?

I will get some pictures of it tomorrow.  It has hairline cracks and looks to have eaten some rocks.

Can stainless impellers be rebuilt?  If so, any suggestions where or whom? Thanks in advance!

I bought a boat this winter and the guy threw the engine in that he had planned on putting in the boat.  I dont have any use for it and thuoght I would offer it up here before I try Ebay.  He stated that it was running when he got it.  I dont know if it was or wasnt.  I would just expect it to need a rebuild.  If you have questions or want pictures or numbers of something specific, let me know and I will get it done.  I have no idea what its worth, so make me an offer I cant refuse!  I will ship this.  If you want a quote let me know your zip and whether its residential or business.  I get a fairly large discount on freight out of here.

A lot of states will allow you to get your license online.  I dont know if they (CA. and AZ) would allow these if/after the law goes into effect however.

I use a hacksaw blade.  It is thin enough and strong enough to hold it up while the arm is inserted.  Once the arm and pump are pushed into place I pull the blade out.

Now tell me (not them) about the Mustang   >:D       Don't you guys have barns up there to keep stuff out of the weather?

Ok, just between you and I.  The Mustang is a 1969 Grande.  It was my step grandmothers first car and she gave it to me as a gift.  Probably not for sale, as she would crucify me if I did.  These things would be in barns/warehouse if I had room, however there is too much shit in them and no room for these particular vehicles.  But this is just between you and I!   ;D

Wasnt expecting reponses so soon on the other cars, so I thought I would throw some others out there that I have.  Same as before, cash is good as are trades of ?

This 1956 Chevy 2-door handyman wagon has no front clip, the floors are gone but yearone makes replacements, rear tailgate glass is good, and passenger side pieces of glass are good. Passenger side in front of the rear wheel is some rot.  There is an assload of trim pieces that go with it.  The front frame is from something else.  They welded it in but should be double checked before closing it all up.

The Monte has 77,000 original miles on it.  My fiance's mom parked it at her farm and the mice got into the headliner and their piss rotted the top on it.  Needless to say it needs a top.  Surface rust in the floors from water getting in from the top, but I dont believe anything major.  Right rear in front of wheel is rotten.  This car runs and drives as is.  Although needs a tune up.

1956 International p/u with original 4-wheel drive.  Rare as hens teeth.  I dont think I have ever come across another one of these.  Not much to say about this one.  It ran when it was parked but that was 20 years ago at least.  But the radiator leaked.  The pictures say everything about its condition.

Anyone interested?  Trades?  Cash?  The 28/29 has no frame, body only.  I will dig them out for the right trade/cash.  Obviously they are not in the best of shape, but you know what they say, one mans trash....

I spoke to the owner today.  His father is the one that raced the boat in the 80's in Washington state.  His last name is Loflin.  Supposedly the boat was a feature boat in a magazine in the 80's.  He didnt know which magazine.  He is going to ask his father for any literature he still has on it.  Anyone know anything about it?

Minnesota's boating noise laws   http://www.boatus.org/onlinecourse/statelaws/Minnesota.html

"An effective muffling system in good working order is required for the exhaust of each boat engine. This system must be effectively installed to prevent excessive noise. Loud boat noise not only bothers other operators and users of the waterways, it can also disrupt peace ashore because of sound's ability to travel great distances over water.

Excessive noise can also prevent you from hearing other boats' sound signals and warnings, and approaching law or rescue personnel. Specifically, it is unlawful to modify, equip, sell or operate a motorboat that exceeds the levels indicated below.

Specifically, no boat shall be operated if it exceeds the following noise levels:

•Boats built before January 1, 1982 must not exceed 84 decibels (dBA) during a pass-by test or 86 dBA measured during a stationary idle test.
•Boats built on after January 1, 1982 must not exceed 82 decibels (dBA) during a pass-by test or 84 dBA measured during a stationary idle test.
A Pass-By Test is usually taken at 50’. An equivalent reading may also be taken at other distances. A Stationary Idle Test is taken at least 4’ above the water and at least 4’ behind the transom of the boat."

Make sure you see the actual DB meter reading and make sure he is standing the 4 feet back.  Get a copy of MN's staute on this and keep it with you on the boat for next time.  That is if you are within the DB.  :)

Alright, so far I am liking the responses.  Is there anything with these boats that I need to check before I start re-assembly?
