SoCal Lakes / Re: Lake Nacameninto?
« on: August 30, 2010, 10:55:54 AM »
When you are leaving main the first cove will take you to heritage. Then next big one is dip, then you go aways and it is on the left hand side. Usually a small island on the west side of the cove inlet. Last cove on the left before you get to Oak Shores. :banghead:

Naci is a great lake. the narrows is a thing of the past. hasn't been the same since they let all the water out of the lake. Everyone goes to Lsa Tablas now. Its a nice lake. Fine for a jet boat on most weekends. Don't recomend it on big weekends ie. memorial. that is unless you like getting beat up. Lots of big boats, 25ft+. However its beautiful country and even scenery. Unlike some of the other lakes. The sheriffs are usually equipt with cameras for the good stuff rather than handcuffs. I will be out there Labor and can't wait. Also not to all midnight runs aren't the best idea if they have let water out since the last time you were there. Lets just say the beaches can come out farther than you think. LOL Learning experience

The No Wake Zone / RPM have changed. Why?
« on: July 14, 2010, 03:24:56 PM »
Went to shaver lake over the fourth. Boat ran as expected. Underpowered. came home to bako and went to BV. Seems as if RPM's are higher now. Idle higher, at half throttle what they were at full throttle before shaver? Any ideas?
