So the motor is blown up or currently running now ? Maybe I'm misreading the post ?I got the impression it was blown up and didn't want to dump money in to it and fix it

I've been told there's a chemical in the treated wood that's no good for your boat... Myth or?Never heard that before and I have had mine done for about 8 years or so. Have done a few boats with them.

So I'm curious. This boat has a good gel coat, Good interior, rebuilt Berkley pump with hydraulic place diverter and it's an open bow 21'. The engine is a 454 BBC and it's been tuned. All the hydraulic lines have been replaced as well as as drive and pump lines. The guy is asking $7500. Is that a good price for the boat or am I being ripped off?Pics ?? Sounds like a decent deal for what people are selling open bows for now days.

I currently have my pump out of the boat and was considering having it powder coated. Any recommendations on who does it and how much it generally cost?Hit up jay @kings powder coating in Fullerton. He just finished mine and did a great job.

OK so my boat is a pile. Now I can either remove my tanks put in ss tanks, get my tanks repaired do some fiberglass work to the floor the bulkhead n the dash and keep it. But I have my eye on a really nice hull that I can get but I'm saving for a house and I don't want to spend my money on it but I want to boat I missed hanging out with everybody at the lake this year and the river what would you guys do repair what you have or purchase a new home or new float. I know this sounds like a no-brainer man I want this boatthe river and lake is not going any where and you can always find a good deal if not better after you get situated in the new pad. Have patience and think long term security not short term happiness.
