I would like to wait for the seats til just about everything is done but I can't afford to paint it exactly how I want it before I want to take it out and get new interior too.  That's why I was just thinking of throwing down some white on this thing just so it wont look too bad for this summer.  I can't be a boat bitch for another season.  I gotta get something in the water by the 4th of July. 

I'm gonna pick it up Monday when I get back from Blythe and I will post picks then. 

This thing is really ugly.  I am thinking just white.  Even if I spent $250 - $300 so it didn't look like a floating turd I would be happy.

If forkedup wants to practice on it he can be my guest.  I'll even have a cooler full of beer.

It does come out kinda dark and mulch like. 

If I decide to redo the stringers how can I tell the rest of the hull is ok?  I am just wondering at what point do I decide to redo the whole boat or look for something else.  I wish I knew more about this stuff.  I am learning though.  Can I give myself negative karma?  I am bummed out.

I was just about ready to mount my motor in my project boat and when I drilled through the stringers the wood came out looking pretty soft.  I don't think it is safe to mount the motor as it is.  I thought about bracing it up with some aluminum but that will be a lot of work and money to still have a shotty stringer and it could still need to be replaced.  How much is it to have someone replace stringers and is it even worth it for the type of hull?  (1982 Condor Semi V)  I like the shape of the hull but I dont care what I have really.  I just want it to float this summer.  You can see the boat in the project section as 82 Condor.  Any help would be appriciated.

Lesson learned.   Oh well.  I had fun making them.  I never really get out in the shop anymore these days.  Hope they work.  Motor is going in tomorrow.

The boat had a 460 that the previous owner took out (three point set up) and I am going to put a BBC on a 4 point mount in.  I bought a complete motor and mounts from river dad (thanks Jason).  He gave me a great deal.  I didn't get the rear feet for mounts and no one had them for the Nicson rear mount that I have.  I was told that there was notch in them that would help support the weight of the motor.  So after trying to find them I decided to make them.  I have to go back out and finish them up. 

The first pic kinda shows the half round slot in the motor plate.  I copied the front mounts for the rear but I am just gonna beef them up a bit.  I will post more pics soon.

Sorry I don't think that's it.  This boat was bitchen.  Come to think of it I think it was a Crusader boat.  It least thats what was painted on the side.
