The difference between the pd all the way up versus all the way down is the same as Ho hum versus hell yeah!

I would think copper could develop stress cracks from the constant jarring and vibration. Maybe GT JETS will chime in on this.

Nice! That's what I'm talking about!  That's real clean.swagelok and stainless tubing with tight bends. Going that route.

Water lines fuel lines etc. Anyone ever hard pipe all of these instead of the usual black rubber hose or braided? Seems like solid stainless steel lines bent nicely would be a real clean look

I've been wanting to get rid of the old points and coil to an updated electronic ignition.  I have a 460. I was reading about hei distributor, not crazy about the looks but very simple and inexpensive. What's everyone s thoughts on what's best and should I only get a marine type? The engine is exposed

I should mention that most of the carpet came right out and I only had to remove the old adhesive and some carpet backing

Projects / Single axle trailer
« on: March 22, 2014, 12:43:26 PM »
Anyone ever converted from a single axle to dual axle trailer? Is it cost effective? What's involved as far as placement of the additional axle. Where's the best place to get parts.  I'd like to see chrome fenders on it. Or should I just get steel ones from tractor supply and just paint them

That's how mine is set up and works fine too. I don't understand why you would not want a thermostat like some people say
