Took the boat out last weekend to Blythe and had some fuel issues and it was spraying a little oil, I think from the oil pan... So I just picked up a 830 CFM race carb to replace the Edelbrock 750 CFM it came with and will need to redo all the fuel lines and get a new electric pump. Then I have to pull the engine to take off the oil pan and re-seal it... I'm not looking forward that part

I want to put a huge cam to better match my intake, something with power from 3000-6500 and all I've found are considered racing cams and the "kits" have either hydraulic or mechanical flat... I'll keep looking for one with hydraulic roller tappets
Not that it matters, but you are talking about a street car or a recreational boat right?

Looking to upgrade the cam and lifters in my 400 Pontiac and would like some help... I've narrowed it down to a few choices and a couple say hydraulic flat tappet and a couple say mechanical flat tappet... What's the difference and which is better?

I work on refrigerators every day, that's my job. So trust me, if the oil from the compressor makes it's way up the freon lines then it's done

« on: May 22, 2014, 10:41:22 PM »what do you use your bed for? i put 4x8 sheets of plywood in my SUV. 2x4's, tons of home stuff at home depot. a french door 29cu ft samsung fridge, a stackable front loading washer and dryer, triple axle fenders, etc. all of which fit inside and i shut the door and locked the car.FYI... You should NEVER lay a fridge on its side for transport! Just trying to save you a headache later on
the best part, i can put the seats up and fit 8 people comfortably.

I melted one of my rubbers now water is spewing , someone at the lake said it wasn't marine what was on my boat (too thin) last time I had it out it was fine, these are on Eddie marine high rise thru transomI have 2 sections I took out of my boat since I'm switch to OT pipes... Where are you located?
