Well I got back to work on it again.

 Water lines = done
 Fuel pump / reg = done
 Fuel lines = done
 Throttle pedal mounted = done
 Used headers ( out of the infamous Jet Boat Performance rafters ) = almost done, there cleaning up better than I thought they would Tom. 
 
 I got rid of the Tstat housing looking thing (ugly) and made a flat plate. also moved one of the dump lines to the drivers side of the motor (looks better / more even).  Made a bracket to mount the fuel press reg (driver side of T/ram). Fuel lines go back from the reg and through the center of the T/ram into the dist block Billy/Ironman made me.

 Fuel pump. I cant believe it bolted up there and the brackets holes lined up perfect with two of the bolts for the transom plates ( It was all planned that way of course  ) 
 

 Now just wiring and rebuild the carbs. I'm NOT looking forward to doing the carbs, I hate them and they hate me !!  Every time I touch carbs they dribble fuel from somewhere when I'm done. 
 
 
 

 I'd love to Skip, but every time I put my name on a list I always end up boatless  .  So, maybe if I stay off the list I'll be able to be there  .

 I have both also and I haven't looked at the flanges, etc yet, but I will say that my Rewarders have lasted a long time and are still in excellent shape.  Only changed to the Bassetts because my Rewardes are twistys and to close to the gunnels.

Here's a better pic of what Toms talking about, you can see the dipstick tube as it passes through the timing cover (just above the water passage), a water leak there can give you milkshake oil. But if yours dosnt have the tube there dont wory about it.

 Nope, no need for the factory plate. But make sure you use the correct gasket (if you use one) when putting the water pump block off plate on, use the gasket that goes between the factory plate and the timing cover. Not the gasket that goes between the WP and the factory plate. 

 I think I'm right about the gaskets , maybe someone else can confirm.  I do remember that one of them seals all the way around the water passages (correct) and the other one is just the outer edge (wrong).

 Of course its still there, these guys are still in the "planning" stage. 

 Give them about 6 more months and then maybe they might try to get it.  Of course they will just drag it into deeper water and sink it again.

I know, I know,  But I cant say. 

 I am ashamed to admit its still sitting on the side of the garage (under its cover and under a canopy).  Yes it runs, but no it hasn't been in the water yet.  I just found a place that still has some closeout steering cables for it (will be ordered next week).  As soon as the "little Eliminator" is done I'll get to work on it (building new interior).  It still needs int, gauges, steering cables, and to have the motor serviced (water pump, carbs cleaned and synced, etc), oh yea and that little crack still needs to be fixed .  Maybe by the end of summer, if I keep it.   

  OK Bahnerboy, I know your expecting me to give you a bunch of crap about this , but I'm not going to.   I might be cleaning house around here soon too. 

 BTW, I was looking at the pics on the other site and you really did a nice job with this boat (looks really good).  To bad we didn't get to see it on the water.
