 I remember one year watching the 24hour race at Le Mans (on TV) and the Audi teem changed a broken trans axle in something like 5min, a little later the Cadillac teems fix for (i believe) a coolant leak was to literally smear a hand full of sillycone on the motor and go back out.

 He can also custom make just about anything you need. Check out my thread, he also made my pump brace, flex plate cover, and a lot of other parts for my boat.

 That's awful, those have to be the worst hours Ive ever heard of.  Who's coffee did you get cought pissing in ? 

The hull is solid with no visible delam.  The pump turns free but I'm thinking it will get a setback and a whirlaway.  The boat needs the rubrail seam capped and the floors redone.  So I'll probalby fill the dash holes and start with a blank slate.  The boat will probably be painted back yellow as that is the main color I see under the red paint.  As I was driving back with Art's old Bissi in tow also the paint and name came to me based on the underlieing yellow.  Art looked the boat over and he said the design and layup should work to turn circles safely (well as safe as any racing boat) although he said performance was dependent on setup (intake angles and placement) and HP (isn't it always).  I guess when it all goes back together we'll see what the mighty mopar can lay down.  In any case it is a good start and should make a fun toy.   

    Been there done that (go back a few pages  ) .  Glad your happy with your new toy. It will be cool to compare some angles (intake/amount of rocker) between the two.

 Now back to my junk, here's the new flex plate cover Billy / Ironman made for me. I also picked up a loader, a fuel distribution block, and a bracket to move my throttle away from the stringer from him. And I have a set of used headers coming from Tom (JBP) , I'm going to save the twistys for something else (I just don't like the way they look on this boat).  I have to admit, without Billy / Ironman and Tom (JBP) this thing would never have gotten this far, as well as everyone on here keeping me motivated. 


 Now for the bad news, I'm done for a while. I'm not going to make the Tom Papp event and this thing is getting out of hand (or I am). I was looking at it tonight and started thinking how the T ram needs nice new Allen head bolts and it needs to be repolished  .  I realized I'm getting more and more picky/anal about this thing every day.  If you look at the pic, I even painted the bolts and spacers on the cover and motor plate  .  Then I noticed the black ones on the valve covers, well, that will never do  .   I just need to throw the cover on it and walk away for a bit.  Maybe I'll go build some seat frames for the Daytona  .
