I was gonna say the same thing, stay with the 20-50. Straight weight oil is for generators and bulldozers..... Thats what an old timer from Quaker State used to tell me.

They're 2 7/8" deep from the rail where they seal on the head to the inside of the top on the intake side (Not including gasket thickness.....), and 3 1/4" across the top from the intake side to the exhaust side. Most girdles should be fine. Were on Moo's old setup. New setup just will not allow it. But Paul told me I hadda so......

p.s.: I never really checked the diameter of the Nicson's pump pad to see if a fuel pump, such as an Enderle, will seat there and be able to take the new drilled/tapped holes for pump mounting, so be sure to check that out.

On the other hand, if you intend to put a waterpump there, such as a Nicson or Neovane waterpump, then our Hex Drive won't work because it's a 3/8" hex drive specifically for injection pumps like Hillborn, Enderle, Kool, Crower, etc. You'd need the waterpump drive from Rex Marine.

yeah, it's getting a Hilborn Pump. The pad has enough meat to redrill for the pump, but going to have to machine the pad a smidge for the register on the pump.

LOL! And I wouldn't assume blow by, can be caused by a lot of things. Do a compression check and build yer puke tank, call it a day. 

Skips boat used to be good for a quart or two all over the bilge after a day on the river, I think new baffled VC solved his, Pickle dribbles a little out of the dizzy hole even with new O-rings, but not enough to get real excited about, my Charger used to spew milkshake pretty good when I first bought it. New intake gaskets and a puke tank cured that one. Pressure buildup in the crankcase can be caused by a lot of things, When pistons go up to compress, they also come down at some point (Usually), HV oil pumps, oil expansion when it gets hot, etc, etc.....not the least of which sounds like you got that thing sealed up pretty damn tight!

I wasn't acting stupid or putting other boaters in danger. The first time I got stopped was because my boat has AZ registration and fish & game needed to inspect my bilge for muscles. Sounds like theres a bit of a problem with boaters bringing them into California lakes. The second time I got stopped was because I was gettin on the motor a bit hard. I was in the process of dialing my carb in and I was having some issues while the motor was under load. I'll be back at Castaic again this Saturday.

Edit: Oh, and Terry, these are the Weiand pulleys also. 2 1/4" registers, not the std 2".....

Hmmm it seems as if your cable is thicker. Did the WJ use different F/R cables as opposed to Berkeley?

The end of your cable sheath SHOULD have threads on it for the capture nuts on your steering arm (43C cable if I'm not mistaken). The cable you have in there looks like a throttle cable to me, so yeah, wrong cable........
