Dash is done, gauges mounted, helm mounted, tach done.
And yea the dash is angled just perfect the reflect the sun directly in my eyes.
I guess I'll paint that piece before summer.

A little progress tonight. A quick re polish on the rails and mounted them, set the motor plates in just to see how it looked.

Progress, (finally) the floors are DONE !!! Not perfect but it will have to do for now, I have less than 4 weeks before the Tom Papp memorial event and I really want to take this thing. I really need to get it in the water by the 1st to do a leak test and hopefully set the water to the headers etc, etc. So unless the "jolly fat man" is bringing me fuel lines, Christmas is canceled .

Even the air actuated ones can be opened manualy.
Provided you can react fast enough to save the boat.
But I think the hard part would be to find a good location for the release (easy to reach but not somewhere you would accidentally hit it).

Good question Omar. I thing you guys are really close to needing these things. I'm not to sure about the "Pop-off valve" though. From what I understand about them they read intake pressure and release through the hand hole clean out if it gets to high, that might be a problem with a circle boat (pressure spikes from rough water). If you set it up to handle the constant pressure spikes it might not open if there is a problem. But I might be way off on that I'm still learning.

I'm here to share my knowledge about engines and to share the boats I have had over the years as a lady.
So thanks for those supporters of woman/ladies to this site you need more.
Unfortunatley some boys just have to show their ego to make up for no sack or johnson (um um outboard) of course.
One more thing, 468Bahner boy again, if I was one of your Ugly Bettys it sure was an uneventful evening limp bizkit!! LMFAO!!!!!!

That's a big list there GT. You know I"m going to ask, just what did you do to total this one (8. 1984 Bahner 19' bubble deck w/468 BBC and Berkeley, totalled.) did you try to go rock crawling ??

Ralph, just another idea. When we capped my old boat many years ago we used something called micro spheres (I believe) as a filler. It was tiny little balls of glass and when mixed with the resin it was the consistency of bondo. It is very strong stuff !! After something like 5yrs I only have one crack (from an incident with an out of control dock). It might work good for straightening the bottom too.

What I would realy like to know is do the intake fins realy do anything for the pump (loading) in a straight line. I do remember an old thread somewhere that the old circle boats would cut the outside fin off to help load the pump in the turns.
It just dosnt make sence to have two sets of fins (one beeing the rudder) that close together trying to do different things . I cant imagine a boat other than a jet adding a fin in that location and expecting the boat to turn. But maybe I'm just looking at it wrong (wouldnt be the first time).
